Correlation vs Convolution

Suppose, we have a kernel of 3x3 size . For correlation operation , we will just slide the mask through the entire image and do filter operation.

For convolution operation, at first the mask is horizontally flipped , then it is vertically flipped. Then we will do the filter operation with the flipped mask.
